Built by operators who lived this problem

We’re CFOs, COOs, and data experts who spent years manually reconciling data across HubSpot, Xero, Stripe, and Intercom. We built Tidyr because we got tired of being the integration layer.

Our story

We ran B2B SaaS companies. We had HubSpot for sales, Xero for finance, Stripe for billing, Intercom for support. Five, ten, fifteen tools. All holding a piece of the truth, none holding all of it.

Every board meeting, someone asked the same question: “What’s our real churn rate?” And every time, nobody could answer with confidence. Sales said one number. Finance said another. Support had a third. Not because anyone was wrong, but because the systems disagreed and nobody had the time to reconcile them.

So we did what everyone does. We hired analysts. We built spreadsheets. We tried Zapier, Segment, reverse ETL tools, integration platforms. Some helped at the edges. Nothing stuck. The spreadsheets always came back. The manual reconciliation never stopped.

Then Claude and AI arrived, and everything changed. Not because AI magically solved data quality — it didn’t. But because it revealed the real problem with painful clarity: AI is only as good as the data it can see. You could have the most powerful reasoning engine in the world, and if it was looking at three different versions of “Acme Corp” across three systems, it would give you three different answers.

That’s when we decided to stop working around the problem and start solving it. We built Tidyr. Not another dashboard. Not another integration tool. A data intelligence layer that connects your systems, matches records with AI, applies your business logic, and gives Claude the clean, contextualized data it needs to actually help run your business.

We built it for people like us — operators who need answers, not more tools.

What we believe

These aren’t aspirational values on a poster. They’re the decisions we make every day when building Tidyr.

01

Operators first

We build for people who run businesses, not data engineers. If it requires a SQL query or a data team to use, we haven’t done our job. Every feature starts with one question: does this help a CEO, CFO, or COO make a better decision?

02

Truth over dashboards

One source of truth beats a hundred pretty charts. We’d rather give you one number you can trust than twelve visualizations that disagree. When your systems tell different stories, we reconcile them — we don’t just display both.

03

Your context matters

Clean data without business logic is just numbers. Your definition of churn, your customer segments, your revenue recognition rules — that’s what makes data useful. We embed your context so Claude speaks your language, not generic metrics.

04

Security is not optional

We handle financial data, customer records, and business intelligence. We don’t treat security as a feature to ship later. Encryption, tenant isolation, and access controls are foundational — they were built on day one, not bolted on after.

Security in detail

You’re trusting us with your most sensitive business data. Here’s exactly how we protect it.

  • Automated backups with point-in-time recovery

Tenant isolation

  • Logical separation per customer
  • Parameterized queries — no string interpolation
  • Row-level security enforcement
  • Zero cross-tenant data leakage by design

Compliance

  • SOC 2 Type II pathway (in progress)
  • GDPR-ready data handling
  • Data processing agreements available
  • Regular third-party security audits

EU data sovereignty

  • EU data residency available on request
  • Data physically stored in EU regions
  • True sovereignty tier for regulated industries
  • No US Cloud Act exposure (sovereignty tier)

Data ownership

  • You own your data — always
  • Full export at any time, any format
  • Complete deletion on request
  • No vendor lock-in, no hostage data

Access control

  • Role-based access for your team
