What happens when beta ends?
When we exit beta, Starter plan users will be given advance notice and a generous transition period. You won’t lose access overnight. We’ll grandfather early adopters with the best available terms as a thank-you for helping us build Tidyr.
How does Tidyr connect to Claude?
Tidyr serves your unified business data to Claude via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, Claude can query your real, matched, deduplicated data across all your systems—CRM, finance, support—in a single conversation. No CSV exports, no copy-pasting.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Each tenant’s data is logically isolated—there is no cross-contamination between accounts. We’re on the SOC 2 compliance pathway, and Enterprise customers can opt into EU data residency for full GDPR alignment.
What data sources do you support?
Tidyr supports 1,000+ data sources through Fivetran, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Xero, QuickBooks, Stripe, Intercom, Zendesk, and many more. If your tool has an API, we can likely connect it. Enterprise customers can request custom integrations for proprietary systems.
Can I export my data?
Absolutely. You own your data. You can export your unified records, match results, and golden entities at any time. We believe in data portability—there are no lock-in mechanics or export fees.
What’s the Model Context Protocol (MCP)?
MCP is an open standard created by Anthropic that lets AI assistants like Claude connect to external data sources securely. Instead of uploading files or pasting data, Claude can directly query your Tidyr-unified data in real time. Think of it as giving Claude a live, read-only window into your business.
Do I need a data team to use Tidyr?
No. Tidyr is built for business leaders, not engineers. Connect your tools, review AI-suggested matches, add your business context, and you’re done. The entire setup takes minutes, not months.
How does AI matching work?
Tidyr uses a three-layer matching approach. First, deterministic rules catch exact and near-exact matches (same email, same domain). Second, fuzzy matching handles variations like “Acme Corp” vs. “ACME Corporation.” Third, AI embedding models capture semantic similarity that rules can’t. You review and approve all matches before they’re applied.
